Costcutter offers three different types of stores to meet your shopping needs: Costcutter Supermarket, Costcutter Foodmarket, and Costcutter Express.

All Supermarket stores carry a wide range of general grocery, frozen and fresh produce to meet your needs, whether shopping for one or a family. Value for money is at the heart of the Costcutter shopping experience, with many special offers and promotions available throughout the stores.

All Costcutter staff are committed to meeting the highest standards in customer care, and offer a friendly and efficient service, with a smile.

Costcutter Foodmarket stores provide customers with friendly, efficient service. Our Foodmarket stores carry a selection of general grocery, frozen and fresh products and place a particular emphasis on hot and cold deli counters.

As well as offering a wide range of products at competitive prices. Costcutter also puts a major emphasis on delivering excellent customer service and excellent hygiene standards.

The same quality, service, and competitive pricing available in Costcutter Supermarkets and Foodmarkets also apply to the Costcutter Express Stores. These outlets provide customers with fast, efficient service. There is a strong emphasis on fresh food, with hot and cold counters in all stores, along with a range of all popular grocery products.

Originally founded by James A. Barry in 1955, Barry Group has been in business for over 50 years. As one of Ireland’s leading wholesale distribution groups, Barry Group trades prominently on a national basis, supplying product to over 800 customers including 265 franchises in the Republic of Ireland, operating under the Costcutter, Carry Out, BuyLo and Quik Pick brands. The company employs 240 people at its headquarters in Upper Quartertown, Mallow, Co. Cork, under the strategic leadership and vision of Managing Director, Jim Barry.
