Amber Costcutter Charleville Celebrates First Birthday With Louis Walsh!

Amber Oil Costcutter Celebrates First Anniversary with Celebrity WOW Factor

Louis Walsh may know the X Factor when he sees it, but what did he make of the Charleville Factor?

The pop supremo and talent show judge was a very special guest at the first anniversary celebrations of the Amber Oil Costcutter on the Cork Road in Charleville.

On Saturday 18th February, Louis Walsh adjudicated ‘the Charleville Factor’ in the popular local forecourt store. Three local singing sensations gave it their all in an attempt to wow the top music man, as part of a fabulous fun day in Charleville.

From 11.00am, store manager Wesley Morrissey, Amber Retail Area Manager Michael O’Sullivan and the whole team hosted an amazing entertainment line-up, with face painters, a fun bus, and clowns all part of the Costcutter celebrations.

Cork’s RedFM provided the music and chat, talking to Louis Walsh and covering the highlights of the hotly contested Charleville Factor singing spectacular.

The 24-hour forecourt and convenience store has been a tremendous addition to the local area, since opening just a year ago, and the party celebrations are designed to thank the people of Charleville for their support, according to manager Wesley Morrissey.

“Amber Oil invested hugely in providing the very best store facilities and range, and has created an award-winning business here in Charleville. Local customer loyalty is amazing and the team here at Costcutter look forward to serving our customers and always doing our very best for them”, the manager says.

The popular local Costcutter store had previously traded on the Main Street in Charleville, for over a decade, and owners Amber Oil moved to the new site last year in order to provide the extensive fuel and restaurant facilities now also available.

The state-of-the-art service station offers fuel, a seated restaurant, ample parking for up to 100 vehicles, toilet facilities, an ATM, a solid-fuel center and car wash facilities.

The extensive new café and deli counter serves hot and cold foods to eat in or take-away, and the Costcutter convenience store range, which includes an instore bakery and wine section, makes the Charleville store a popular destination for busy shoppers.
