New York Style Chocolate Chip Cookies

• 2 3/4 cups Fitzgerald’s plain flour
• 1 cup Meadowbrook Farm butter
• 1 cup Gem light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup Gem caster sugar
• 2 Costcutter eggs
• 1 tsp Royal baking powder
• 1 tsp Goodall’s vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
• 1 packet of Gem milk chocolate chips
• 1 packet of Gem white chocolate chips
• 1 Share bar of Cadbury’s Caramilk


1. Cream the butter and sugar together.
2. Add in the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
3. Gradually add in your dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
4. Add in your chocolate chips and mix until even dispersed through the dough.
5. Roll into 8 palm size ball shapes.
6. Chill in the fridge for roughly 45 minutes.
7. Bake in the oven at 180° for 12-13 minutes.
8. Leave cool completely.
9. Drizzle melted Cadbury’s Caramilk on top. Add some extra chocolate chips.
