The Perfect Irish Stew Recipe


  1. 450g Meadowbrook Farm Diced Beef
  2. 250g Kennedys Carrots & Parsnips
  3. 3 Griffins Washed Irish Roosters
  4. 1 Knorr Country Stew Meal maker
  5. 1 Onion, chopped
  6. 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  7. 570ml Water



  1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, fry the chopped onion until golden.
  2. Add the beef, cook until browned.
  3. In a jug, mix the contents of the Knorr Mealmaker Country Stew sachet with the water and add to the pan. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
  4. Add the carrots and potatoes.
  5. Cover and simmer very gently, stirring occasionally for 1½ -2 hours or until the beef is tender.
  6. Serve and Enjoy!
